A lot of hard work and very long hours go into each collection we produce for my Paper Crown clothing line. Each collection involves months of designing and merchandising the collection, countless print and fabric appointments, fitting all the garments and meeting with retailers. But after all that comes my favorite part: the photo shoot. There is something really special about getting to see everything come to life in such a beautiful way. Which is why I love sharing that part with all of you!
We recently had a shoot for my Paper Crown Bridesmaids line at a beautiful vineyard just outside of L.A. We had such a wonderful time shooting all the pieces and bringing them to life. You can see all the final shots on the blog Wedding Chicks today, but I thought I’d give everyone a behind-the-scenes look at the shoot right here on the site.
We shot on the grounds of a lush vineyard called Triunfo Creek Vineyards. Talk about a dream location…
The vibe of the shoot was ultra romantic with plenty of rose petals, florals, brass candlesticks, crystal chandeliers, and distressed wood flooring…
I stepped in to help with the prop styling…
And we had some special visitors stop by… (None other than an MTV film crew!)
We had a dream team there to help us make this shoot as beautiful as it was, including Yoni Goldberg and Valorie Darling taking photos, Kristen Ess doing hair, Amy Nadine doing the models’ makeup, and Kate Martindale doing the prop styling.I love how the final photos turned out, and hope you check them out on Wedding Chicks. And for anyone asking, you can shop the collection at Bella Bridesmaids, Nordstrom, and Hudson’s Bay.
Which detail of this shoot is your favorite?
I’d love to hear!
XO Lauren
