Trying to keep up with Emma Roberts and Evan Peters’ on-again off-again engagement is like trying to keep up with your future mother-in-law’s ever-changing guest list: It’s near impossible, you guys. But a brand new ring on Robert’s finger (yes, that finger) seems to confirm that she’s in fact once again engaged to her sometimes sweetie.

Roberts was just spotted out and about in Beverly Hills on Wednesday in an oh-so-chic leopard coat and ultra-cool black sunnies. But our eyes were on her other can’t-miss accessory — the unique sparkler sitting on Roberts’ left ring finger.
The Scream Queens star was rocking a ring that would send any alt-bride’s heart all a-flutter. Roberts’ ring looks to be a diamond and onyx ring on a gold band. Hmm… Could this be Engagement Ring #2 from Peters? (What? You don’t have two engagement rings? Yeah, we don’t either…)
The two American Horror Story stars reunited at the end of 2016 when they were spotted packing on the PDA. Later, Evans posted a pic of Roberts to his Instagram page, proving that the pair were once again social media official. But does that mean that they’re back to planning their walk down the aisle? Roberts and Evans were previously engaged in March 2014, when the couple first confirmed their to-be-wedded status after about two years of dating (and one very unfortunate and explosive argument in 2013 that lead to Roberts’ arrest). But the following year in June 2015, the two had called off their engagement, only to later get back together — and break-up, and get back together, and break-up…
But now — if we were to take that ring’s word sparkle for it — Evans and Roberts seem back on their way to becoming a Mr. and Mrs. The actress’ new bling is definitely different than the one Evans originally gifted her back in 2014 (that sparkler was a much more traditional two-to-three carat round-cut diamond), so perhaps that’s a sign that 2017 will be different for the darling duo.
