Newlywed bliss looks good on Margot Robbie — as does her new wedding ring! The Wolf of Wall Street star was spotted with her wedding band accompanying her engagement ring on the red carpet this week.
Robbie, 26, stepped out with her new wedding ring on Tuesday during Marie Claire’s Image Maker Awards. The actress was there supporting her makeup artist, Pati Dubroff, and the two appeared on the red carpet together. The Suicide Squad actress wore a black leather Valentino number, according to ET Online, and of course was rocking her new bling.
The sparkler is a thin rose gold pave band, which beautifully complements her yellow gold pave engagement ring.
On the subject of the blonde beauty’s nuptials, according to The Daily Mail, she and her new hubs exchanged vows under a bohemian teepee-inspired tent, with the bride’s sister standing by her side as maid-of-honor. Reportedly, Robbie was also given away by her mother, and post-“I dos,” the newlyweds celebrated with an estimated 50 wedding guests until 11 that night.
“They decided to marry around Christmas so they could spend time with both their families afterwards, which they’ve never done before,” a source divulged to Woman’s Day, explaining how the newlyweds had sworn all of their guests to secrecy in order to pull off the confidential wedding.
Even with trying to keep it a secret, the wedding news got out, with Aussie gossip mags all reporting on the “I dos.” To combat the rumor mill (or should we say affirm it), Robbie shared an Instagram selfie of herself giving the ring finger as she and her new-hubby shared a kiss. Holding up her left hand, she flaunted her sparkler, a wedding ring with a pear-shaped center stone on a pavé-encrused silver band. Anyone need more proof than that?
As far as her dress on the big day, The Courier-Mail reports that Robbie’s ruffled off-the-shoulder wedding dress was a hand-me-down from her mother, Sarie Kessler, who wore the gown for her wedding several decades before. With the help of Australian designer Casey Tanswell, she changed the gown’s lining and altered the dress to fit her just days before the wedding.
