Six years and still going strong! After dating since 2006, Nick and Vanessa Lachey wed on a private island in the Caribbean on July 15, 2011. Now, six years and three children later, these two are just as in love as ever. And Nick Lachey has the Instagram post to prove it. Taking to social media on his sixth anniversary this Saturday, Lachey shared the sweetest message about his bride. As if you needed any more proof that these two are soulmates!
Captioning a beautiful black-and-white photo of himself and his wife embracing on a tropical beach, Lachey wrote, “Six years ago today, I took this beautiful woman as my wife and the life we’ve built together is more incredible than anything I could have ever imagined!”
“Through all of the laughter, tears, triumphs, and challenges, you are my unconditional rock,” the 98 Degrees singer continued. “I love you and our family more than you will ever know. Thanks for your patience, support, and love. Thanks for being you. Happy Anniversary!! #soulmate”
Aww! Vanessa also couldn’t help but share the love on the ‘Gram, posting an adorable pic of her and her husband’s three children, Camden John Lachey, Brooklyn Elisabeth Lachey, and Phoenix Robert Lachey. “Happy Anniversary, Baby!” she wrote. “I Love You and this Beautiful life we’ve made! You are my person! Forever and Ever.”
Congratulations, Vanessa and Nick! Here’s to many more years together—with hopefully fewer lost rings! Just last month, Lachey had to hilariously dig through the trash—dirty diapers, pet hair, paper scraps, food crumbs, and all—to find his wife’s missing wedding ring. “This is true love after 6 years of marriage,” Lachey captioned a social-media snapshot of Vanessa’s diamond sparkler, glittering in the garbage. “Digging through dirty diapers and trash to find your wife’s missing wedding ring!”
