Birmingham-based wedding ring and jewellery manufacturer Charles Green has invested in a new purpose-built design suite due to an increase in bespoke jewellery demand.
Following a rapid growth in its bespoke jewellery department, Charles Green has invested £50,000 into redeveloping a whole area of its factory into a new, purpose-built design suite.
According to the manufacturer, the demand for British made, luxury diamond jewellery has increased exponentially over the past year. In Q1 this year, Charles Green reported a rise of just over 100% in bespoke jewellery sales year compared to the same period in 2016.
The new design suite currently houses three full time CAD designers who work on creating one-off bespoke pieces of jewellery, and three diamond setters, who work on the bespoke pieces and Charles Green’s own Lux collection. The design suite is equipped with all of the latest micro setting technology and state of the art machinery.
