Openings and Events

What a treat: the Dutch designers Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren will debut a fragrance, Bonbon, inside a Viktor & Rolf shop-in-shop at Saks Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, opening Thursday. Mr. Horsting and Mr. Snoeren plan to pop into the bow-bedecked space on April 17 to sign bottles of the yummy perfume, which smells like Mandarin oranges and caramel ($115 for 1.7 ounces). 

On Wednesday, the Australian brothers Tull and Josh Price of the artisanal sneaker label Feit will open a shop-in-shop at Assembly New York. They’ll be there from 6 to 8:30 p.m. to walk you through styles like hand-sewn high ($495) and low ($450) tennis shoes, each made from a single piece of vegetable-dyed leather. At 170 Ludlow Street.

Sample Sales

Fans of the colorful architectural footwear of Nicholas Kirkwood will want to head to his sample sale on Thursday, where styles like jade patent leather pumps ($300) and yellow-and-green tribal patent leather heels ($350) will be available up to 70 percent off. At the Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 West 18th Street, the Gallery, fourth floor.

That same day, the knitwear label White & Warren will sell cashmere color-block crew necks ($85) and travel wraps ($150) up to 70 percent off. At the White & Warren showroom, 80 West 40th Street, third floor.

And from Thursday to Sunday, the downtown staple Saturdays NYC will host its annual sample sale with surf-to-city pieces like patterned board shorts ($40) and solid chinos ($60) up to 70 percent off. 168 Bowery.

Hitting the Racks

The editors Alexia Niedzielski and Elizabeth von Guttman (the force behind the industry glossy System as well as Ever Manifesto, a title dedicated to raising the profile of eco-chic in the luxury sphere) have teamed with H&M in an H&M Conscious Exclusive capsule collection that includes a vegetable-tanned leather crop top ($129) and a lace gown made from recycled polyamide thread ($549). The avant-garde art-fashion threesome threeASFOUR is offering one-of-a-kind Picasso and Kandinsky silk-screen tunics ($555) from their Manhattan showroom.
