From modern architectural wonders to ancient monuments, world famous landmarks have been transformed into some of the season’s most memorable and unique jewellery.
If you have walked down the streets of the charming Parisian neighbourhood of Montmartre, Ivanka Trump’s jewellery collection of the same name will resonate with you. In gold and diamonds, the jewels mimic the cobblestone paths in this historic district, which has long been a haven for artists and bohemians.
The latest installment of Cartier jewellery from the Paris Nouvelle Vague collection also pays homage to Paris with fine jewellery inspired by a stroll through the French capital that takes in the River Seine and the iconic Pont des Arts bridge. The American designer’s New York fine jewellery collection captures the glamour and energy of Manhattan, where the brand has been based since 1932.
A David Morris cocktail ring conjures up images of the more exotic environs of the Taj Mahal in India. This beautiful monument is one of the Wonders of the World, and the Taj ring, with its round brilliant-cut centre stone surrounded by pink, purple and white diamonds, references the bulbous, 115-foot-tall marble dome.
