To celebrate its 240th anniversary, Mappin & Webb has launched a new fine jewellery collection that pays tribute to its longstanding Royal heritage. Entitled Wildfell, the 17-piece collection consists of rings, necklaces and bracelets in both yellow gold and sterling silver, with a flowing asymmetric design. The collection is inspired by both the beautiful rolling landscape of the West Country and the sweeping curves of the historical county of Dorset.

One piece that encapsulates the quintessentially English style of Mappin & Webb is the Dorset Bow brooch, which was a wedding present to Queen Mary from the county of Dorset. First worn by Mary at the 1897 Devonshire House Ball, 50 years later the diamond-encrusted brooch was among the jewels given to the young Princess Elizabeth on her wedding day, which The Queen still wears regularly. The British brand was granted a Royal Warrant in 1897 and still holds silversmith warrants to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales.
