All the jewels from the British Fashion Awards

Getting your look just right is crucial, and never more so than when it comes to red carpet jewellery for the British Fashion Awards. The dressed-up sense of occasion of this ceremony makes it the perfect jewellery-spotting event, and here are my highlights of who wore what jewels in style.

Arizona Muse carried off my favourite look with a simple white dress by Ralph & Russo accentuated by a pair of relatively low-key De Beers earrings from the Arpeggia collection, accompanied by two diamond bracelets, one on each wrist, of 12 carats and 2.5 carats respectively.

Pixie Lott was also in De Beers diamonds with a pretty Frost necklace with 108 diamonds totalling 7.41 carats, and an impressive 5.78 carat De Beers ring from the Aria collection, along with a pair of delicate Swan Lake drop earrings. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley stunned in her gold Burberry gown paired with what looked like vintage diamond earrings in an Art Deco style.

Lara Stone made the biggest red carpet jewellery statement with a three-tier Chanel Lion Vénitien diamond necklace and Lion Pépite earrings, which stood out against her simple black dress. Also wearing Chanel jewellery were Rita Ora in Soleil earrings and a Franges ring in white gold and diamonds, and Laura Bailey, who chose the Franges Swing Chanel earrings.

The brightest star of the night was undoubtedly Lada Gaga, who offset her vampy red dress and matching fishnet gloves by Tom Ford with diamond Bulgari Serpenti earrings.

Playing by her own rules, Victoria Beckham wore a tuxedo with no other accessory on show other than her chunky Rolex men’s watch.
