I’ve made many beaded drop earring designs so far. Today I got some inspirations from the internet and then I created this unique earring set design. With purple seed beads, red pearl and green pearl beads, I made this pair of seed bead and pearl ball drop earrings! Let’s see the detailed steps below.
Supplies in making the purple seed bead and pearl ball drop earrings:
3mm Purple Glass Seed Beads
4mm Red Glass Pearl Beads
6mm Red Glass Pearl Beads
12mm Green Acrylic Pearl Beads
Iron Headpins
Silver Earring Hook
0.3mm Tiger Wire
Scissors

Instructions on making the purple seed bead and pearl ball drop earrings:
Step 1: Bead a basic unit
1st, snip off a piece of 0.3mm tiger wire (about 50cm) and slide 5 3mm purple seed beads and a 4mm red pearl bead to the middle;
2nd, cross both ends of the wire through 4 purple seed beads and tighten up.
Step 2: bead 5 more units
1st, thread the left through in the picture through a purple seed bead, while the other wire through a 4mm red pearl bead;
2nd, cross both wires through 4 purple seed beads and tighten;
3rd, repeat above steps and bead the rest 4 units until you end it up like below.
Step 3: Make a symmetrical pattern
1st, thread 5 purple seed beads through one wire, then cross both wires through another 4 seed beads and tighten;
2nd, thread one wire through the red pearl next to it, and thread the other wire through a seed bead, then cross both wires through 4 purple seed beads and tighten;
3rd, thread the upper wire through the red pearl bead next to it, then repeat above procedure again to bead the rest units as shown.
Step 4: Insert a green pearl pit in the ball
1st, insert a 12mm green pearl bead in the center, then thread one of the wires through a 4mm red pearl bead;
2nd, continue to thread the wire through along the red pearl bead and the purple seed beads as shown and tighten up the wire;
3rd, thread the wires along the seed beads and finally trim off them.
Step 5: Finish the beaded ball drop earrings
1st, prepare a 7cm headpin, 2 4mm red pearls, a 6mm red pearl and an earring hook;
2nd, thread the headpin through a 4mm red pearl, the beaded ball, a 6mm red pearl, a 4mm red pearl and a 3mm purple pearl in sequence;
3rd, twist a loop at the end of the headpin, and hook it to the earring hook in the end;
4th, repeat the whole process to make the other earring to make a pair.

This pair of pearl ball drop earrings goes well with all seasons and all ages.
