Chanel J12 365: the watch for all occasions

Discreetly glamorous and unabashedly feminine, the updated version of Chanel’s iconic J12 watch is the perfect everyday timepiece.

As the name suggests, the J12-365 is the watch you will reach for every day of the year. With subtle design tweaks to give it a more delicate and refined look, the new timepiece is as appropriate for the office and school run as it is for a dinner date and a night out on the tiles.

Launched at this week’s Baselworld, the J12-365 comes with a white or black ceramic case, enhanced with either steel or beige gold, the latter being a new 18k gold alloy developed exclusively for Chanel.

Set to arrive in stores from early June, the new timepiece is available in eight versions: in black ceramic with steel or beige gold and with or without diamonds, or in white ceramic with steel or beige gold and with or without diamonds.

At 36.5mm the diameter of the watch is smaller than the 38mm on previous J12 watches, giving it a daintier look, which also adds to its feminine allure.

The new version has self-winding mechanical movement with a 42- hour power reserve, and hour, minutes and date indication. In addition, it is water resistant up to 100 metres.

The Chanel J12-365 collection is equipped with a new automatic movement, with the date now sitting above 6pm and directly below the diamond pave small seconds.
With the new case measuring 36.5mm, the J12-365 is Chanel’s smallest automatic timepiece.
