Some of the biggest names in music lit up London last night with their red carpet jewellery as they stepped out for the 2016 Brit Awards.
A radiant Kylie Minogue outshone starlets half her age in a sequined Ralph & Russo dress teamed with sparkling diamond jewellery from Chopard. The newly engaged pop princess wore a double-strand diamond necklace from the Haute Joaillerie collection, along with a pair of diamond and rose gold Chopard earrings.
Adele was the undisputed star of the night, sweeping up four awards including the Global Success Award, and setting a new record for the most successful solo artist in one year. Her glittering performance was matched by her red carpet jewels, which included two David Morris diamond rings and a pair of white gold and diamond earrings in the shape of a flower.
Never one to shy away from attention, Rihanna’s racy on-stage gyrating with ex-boyfriend Drake sent Twitter into overdrive, but there was also plenty of praise for her glamorous red carpet outfit. She teamed her slinky lilac Armani Prive dress with a pair of Jack Vartanian diamond earrings, a stack of diamond bracelets and ring by Casa Reale, and a selection of Asprey rings. Before stepping onto the stage, she changed into an all-white outfit accessorised with a diamond and sapphire statement necklace by Le Vian.
While the tabloid headlines focused on the jewels that Cheryl Fernandez-Versini wasn’t wearing – notably her wedding ring – the X Factor judge ramped up the glamour by piling on the diamonds. Wearing a barely-there yellow dress by Zuhair Murad, her tumbling hair was pinned back to show off a pair of VANLELES diamond ear cuffs and a choker-style Messika diamond necklace.
